Tooth loss can dramatically change your life. The more teeth you lose, the more different your life may start to seem. Eating as well as talking becomes more difficult, and dentures are hardly an attractive option.
Dental implants are the tooth replacement option that’s the most like getting back your lost teeth. Full-arch replacements look natural and require simple home care.
If you wear dentures, you probably know they can be a pain. They slip and slide around, and you have to take them out for extended periods for cleaning.
Our All-on-4® full-arch implant restorations stay in place, and you won’t have to worry about adhesives. Implants aren’t messy or difficult to eat with, so you’ll hardly notice they’re there.
The first step in getting a full-arch restoration is to schedule a consultation with Dr. Wirth. He’ll assess your teeth and make sure this procedure is right for you.
If your jaw doesn’t currently have enough bone density to support implants, Dr. Wirth can perform a supplemental procedure. These procedures can help your jaw grow more bone mass.
When you’re ready for implants, Dr. Wirth can begin the first part of the procedure. He’ll place four titanium implants into your jaw, which your jawbone will fuse to in a process called osseointegration. The prosthetic is fixed onto these implants to keep it in place.
But before you can receive your permanent restoration, the surgical site has to heal. In the meantime, we’ll give you a temporary restoration until your permanent full-arch prosthetic is ready.
You may have lost teeth, but that’s no reason to lose hope. Advances in dental technology can restore your smile so you can eat, talk, and live freely.
